Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I really like it when you Photoshop our name and date into the save-the-dates...is that included in the package pricing?
A. Custom save-the-date images are priced on an additional per image basis and easily added on to any of my packages or the a la carte menu.

Q. Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?
A. Yes. We charge for exact travel expenses and a modest per diem.

Q. Does MLP back up our images? How can we ensure that our images won't be lost?
A. We have never lost a single image from any pre-wedding or wedding session. Immediately after every shoot, all sessions are backed up in the "Cloud" for a minimum of 10 years. If the "Cloud" goes down it's the end of the world anyway.

Q. How do I reserve MLP for my date?
A. Your deposit reserves and guarantees your specified date.

Q. Do you provide partial day coverage?
A. Yes. In addition to our wedding packages, we offer a la carte services with hourly rates.

Q. Does MLP deliver every image you shoot?
A. No. The shots not delivered are typically ones where you or your guests are making expressions that are unflattering. For example, when a person laughs, we rapid shoot several images consecutively to capture his/her best expression. We select the best from the series and archive the rest.

Q. What if the weather is bad on the day of my event?
A. It's up to you. If the weather is slightly bad it sometimes can add to the dramatic effect. It's always up to you. If you want to reschedule, no problem.

Q. Do you use second shooters for wider coverage?
A. Yes. We work with highly talented and experienced second shooters. We also have interns that assist us with equipment and lighting on location.

Q. Have you shot at my venue before?
A. We have shot at every major venue so chances are yes. We are available for any client who would like to do a walk-through prior to their wedding day.

Q. What is your photography style?
A. We are best known for developing a unique style of wedding photography that is deeply rooted in wedding photo-journalism that is highly influenced by fine-art and fashion photography. We love using creative lighting, unique perspectives, angles, compositions, and artistic post production refining to bring out our clients personalities and beauty while telling their wedding story. We pride ourselves on not just being photographers, but rather artists creating unique and expressive imagery.
